DNM (Doctorate of Natural Medicine)
A DNM is one who administers a system of medicine in which only natural substances and techniques are used including safe, gentle and non-invasive therapies such as Nutritional Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements. These medicines and therapies are aimed at enhancing the body’s self healing ability to regain and maintain optimum health.
The core philosophy of the Natural Medicine Doctor is the prevention of disease and the stimulation of the natural healing processes of the body to re-establish homeostasis when the body is in a state of dis-equilibrium.
A DNM has met the educational standards of 4500 hours as established by the World Organization of Natural Medicine Practitioners (WONMP).
Natural medicine training involves extensive education in anatomy and physiology, Natural Medicine foundations, environment, health education, bodily approaches, biotherapies, Phytotherapy, case studies, internship and a doctoral thesis.
Clinical Herbal Therapist (CHT, CH)
This is an herbalist who studied for four years in an accredited Western Herbal Medicine program which includes a clinical internship of 500 hours.

ROHP/RNCP...Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner/Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner
A ROHP/RNCP is a practitioner who is professionally trained in holistic nutrition and complementary therapies. The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC) designates and signifies credibility as a Nutritional consultant. The IONC was established in 1983 to assure the public that ROHP/RNCP are meeting high ethical and educational standards. Only those who have thoroughly studied nutrition at a recognized school and have met the educational standards and requirements set by the IONC will be granted the ROHP/RNCP designation.
